The 1st book was so simple...only 9 chapters...this book has 13! Wow...really advanced huh? But it wasn't easy. To me, i feel there are a lot of errors here and there...its either too rushing or...i dunno la...i just feel the last few chapters are not really in the flow because i was really tired when doing the chapters. Now i know the stress of writers who have to meet a deadlines. Mine was Monday, before school starts. So, ya, In the Oasis has finally come to an end. For my 3rd series, i want to try something different. Adventure, yes, but no kidnapping..or rescuing. Something simple, comedy like..just enjoyable to read. Coz i am really tired out by writing suspense and 'rescuing adventure like' stories...haha...and i am sure a change like that would do my readers good too! Any comments, u can always visit my blog and comment. I am very reluctant to put my email. I am so sry. I dun want any spams or viruses to flow in. So forgive me. Just tag in my tagboard on my blog or simply just comment in this blog. I will view it and comment back.

Chapter 13
Senthil lay gasping on the ground, blood gushing out from his chest. His sister was crying loudly over his body. Ghazali was clutching his leg in pain; trying to pry out the bullet, which only led to more pain and more blood oozing out. Mr. Guru, holding his gun, and the other officers ran in. "My...God...what's this? A...kidnap? My...wait...those 4 are your friends!" Mr. Guru shouted as he stared at the gang. They all nodded frantically in agreement. "Guys, hurry up untie these people. Arrest that boy there and please somebody carry that poor boy!" Mr. Guru cried out. The other officers ran forward to carry out their duties. As soon as they were untied, the gang ran towards Senthil. The colour on his face was draining out very quickly. "My god...the bullet's in his cchest...oh...oh..." Zahira moaned. "You girls, bring Senthil's sister. We can handle him" Firdaus said. Mrs. Mani had marched towards Ghazali and unleashed her powerful words. Even the officers were afraid to stop her. Ghazali was cowering under her. Ghazali's men tried to run away, but failed miserably. Together, Legolas and Firdaus carried Senthil. Only Baihakki was daring enough to pull Mrs. Mani away to allow the officers to handcuff Ghazali. The girls supported Senthil's sobbing sister. "Wait! Sir...there are more captives! They are our classmates and their family! Come on..only you know where they are!" Nury asked Senthil's sister. She wiped her tears and led the way. They turned a corner and after a distance, a huge well lit room was seen and inside was Shafiq, Faeez, and their families, all tied up. Once they were untied, "You came!" Shafiq cried out in relief. "Well...ya" The gang replied humbly. "This is crazy! I need to call in more boats!" Mr. Guru cried out. With everyone untied, and Ghazali and his men handcuffed, they made their way to the sea.
"Its Vik, Nad, Firdaus and Deb!...handcuffed?!" Nisa exclaimed. "Oh, sorry about that. They put up a really excellent act to bring us here. This island has to be taken care off! So many things happening without our knowledge!" Mr. Guru replied. The gang hugged each other. ''What happened to Senthil?" Deb asked. "Talk talk later! Everyone get onto the boats. Bring those culprits onto the largest. I don't even want to see their faces!" Mr. Guru barked. There was hardly enough space in the boats. But they managed to divide themselves. "Vik! The corrupt policemen! We haven't told Mr. Guru!" Nadera whispered to Vikram. Vikram quickly ran to Mr. Guru and briefly told him the news. Mr. Guru secretly signalled 5 of his officers to arrest the men. What shock the men got when they were suddenly flunged onto the gound and handcuffed! The gang got into their own boat. Mr. Guru, Senthil, his sister, Shafiq's family and some officers into another, Faeez's family and some backup officers in another and finally, the largest of all boats was used to carry Ghazali, his men, the policemen and the rest of the officers. All 4 boats started off at the same time and sailed swiftly across the sea towards singapore. "What happened?!" The gang asked each other at the same time. Slowly, each pair explained what happened when they were tackling Ghazali's men. Nadera then explained how she found Firdaus and Deb, and how they found the corrupt policemen trailing them and how they handled the situation. When she came to the part where Deb was telling about Nisa at the desert, everyone, including Nisa gasped. "Hey! I purposely left that part out when i was telling our side of the story! How could you!" Nisa complained. "Hey, it was a very brave thing" Legolas said and kissed Nisa. "Yyour...your voice!" Nisa asked. "Yup, came back. Must have rested well at the cave" Legolas replied. Then Nury explained what happened at the cave and why Senthil was hurt to the other 4. "....He jumped infront and got hit instead. Mr. Guru burst in and shot Ghazali in his leg. If only he came in earlier, Senthil wouldn't have been shot..."When she ended her story, the boat was already nearing Singapore. Baihakki stood up and walked towards Vikram.
"...you...can...drive" Baihakki mumbled helplessly. Vikram kept a straight face. "Look..i'm..sorry""NO!. I am sorry. I should have just pushed those fans away." Vikram replied. "It's not your fault. I know the feeling of being surrounded by fans. You can't push them away. I was the stupid one to get jealous. I am sorry." Baihakki finished. The boat stopped at the harbour. The gang made their way out. Vikram and Baihakki looked at each other. They then gave each other a hug and a huge thump on each other's back. They then followed the rest out of the boat. Ambulances were already waiting for them outside the terminal. "Send all of them who's injured to the hospital. The rest, please follow me" Mr. Guru said. Baihakki, with his nose broken had no choice but to leave the gang. "I'll go with you." Zahira volunteered immediately. "I think I and Nury will accompany Senthil and his sister to the hospital too" Mrs. Mani volunteered. So, the gang parted. The rest followed Mr. Guru in his jeeps to the station.
"Now tell me EVERYTHING" Mr. Guru asked at his station. Although exhausted, they knew the urgency. So each took turns to explain, starting from how it all began at Northern Islands, Link cave. Then, after all that, Shafiq and faeez explained how they and their families were kidnapped from their homes and the gang continued the story of how all the planning happened and their adventure at the desert(they kindly excluded Nisa'a bravery act). "That Ghazali is really going to get it. And..this Mr. Philip? Missing is he? I will send an immediate notice to all police divisions to arrest his men and to find him." But at that rightful moment, Mr. Guru's handphone rang. "Sir! This is Kuppu! You told me and Bala to check the island one more time. We found a small fishing boat hidden behind a rock. And when we entered the cave, we saw a police officer coming out from one of the rooms. He tried escaping when he saw us but we caught him. Shall we bring him back?" "HAHAH! Oh yes, please do. Be careful alright? Bring the fishing boat along to. Load it into the ship...pity the fisherman whom he took the boat from. It was lucky i left a ship there for you guys. Load all the other items left in the cave or around the island into the ship too for evidence and come back here alrites? You guys don't deserve only a pizza, i will treat you all to dinner tonight! And a ticket to Vikram's new movie!" Mr. Guru replied and with that, hung up the phone. "I believe we caught...this Mr. Philip you were talking about at the cave. He will be arriving here soon. Please help to identify him. In the meantime, do rest her. It's very squeezy. I didn't know there would be a time where so many people will enter my office regarding just one case!" Mr. Guru replied. "If that Mr. Philip broke anything in my house to escape..." Firdaus mumbled. "Urm, Mr. Guru? About the movie, for all your help, i think i can sponsor" Vikram replied, smiling.
2 weeks later:
"WHOOHOOOOO!!!!!!" Nadera shouted. "Shut up!" Vikram replied shyly. "Who cares Vik? We have the whole theatre to oursleves!" Nadera exclaimed and shouted more. When the movie ended, they all left the theatre. "Thank you so much Vikram" Mr. Guru said. "No problem. It's my pleasure. I do this everytime my movie is released. Only this time, we have more members to fill up the empty seats" Vikram replied, nodding towards Shafiq, Faeez, Senthil, his sister, Mr. Guru, Bala and Kuppu. "Ya, cool isn't it? To be able to get a theatre room all to ourselves and to watch the movie F.O.C!" Nadera said excitedly, hugging Vikram. "You were great Vikram" Senthil commented. "AS ALWAYS!" The rest of the gang replied.
Well well, always a happy ending. With exams over, the girls had fun with the gang. And for their good hearts. Although they didn't study well, they passed all subjects. The news of the kidnapping even appeared in all newschannels and newspapers. The gang and the rest of their friends name was excluded ofcourse. They didn't want and publicity! Ghazali has been locked up in boys school. Mr. Philip and his men have been sacked and are bidding their time in prison. Senthil had recovered but has Asthma now and has to be careful that he does not do any very tiring work. The bullet had missed his heart by inches! We must thank God that he atleast survived and that all has went well. What an adventure! But this is never the end for our gang! What adventure will they have the next time? Stay tuned!

Chapter 12
"You are sure this is the place?" Navy officer Mr. Guru asked. "Yes...and no. It is from here that you have to go on by yourselves....muahahaha...my men will be waiting for you! They are all dressed in grey like me, making it harder to be spotted. Have fun officer!" Vikram replied in a very convincing manner. "You have some nerve boy...i guess i shouldn't bring you guys along...have to leave you guys handcuffed here and guarded...hmmm..." Mr. Guru put on his thinking cap. Firdaus inched closer to Vikram. "You are brilliant! Your plan is working excellently. Now they would be able to arrest Ghazali, and rescue their captives and all our friends! They will know that we are not the actual culprits!" Firdaus whispered excitedly. "No, this is the worst plan" Vikram whispered back. Deb and Nad inched closer too. "Why?" Both whispered together. "Yes, what you say is correct. However, if they were to send the currupt policemen with them in the name of backup, they are sure to find Ghazali 1st and warn him!" Vikram whispered sadly. "Hey! I didn't allow you guys to talk! Shut your mouth and sit down!" Mr. Guru barked at the 4. They sat down, afraid of what's going to happen next. They looked up at Mr. Guru. "Hmph...anyway, i have decided. You 3 policemen! Since you have no weapons. I suggest you 3 guard these 4. Bala and Kuppu! You stay here and guard too!" Mr. Guru ordered. "BBut sir! We have weapons!" Bala and kuppu complained. "Yes, i know that. These 3 policemen are from a different division. I need people from our side to guard them too, to serve as witness if anything happens. That's why. Plus..i guess guarding requires weapons too. Don't worry. I'll treat you all to pizza later on okay?" Mr. Guru replied. "Yes sir!" They replied happily and took their stands next to the 4.
Relief spread over all 4's faces. Nadera looked up at the policemen. "Haha, not so tough are you now? Aww...i bet you thought he will send you guys to search for Gha..i mean, for our men huh?" Nadera said sarcastically. The 3 policemen gave a disgusted look and just looked away as the backup officers trailed behind Mr. Guru. "Your plan worked after all!" Deb said to Vik happily. "Vik? Can i ask something?" Nadera asked. "Yes dear?" "Well...we have all been obviously noticing. What's with you and Baihakki?" Nadera asked timidly, afraid of Vik's response. How could Vikram get angry at Nadera?! "Sigh, it all happened yesterday when i went to drop him off. We stopped by a mall to get something and up on the wall was a poster of me together with my latest movie. There were a group of girls around it and obviously, they spotted me and ran all over me..(Nadera eyes opened wide in shock) Don't worry! They were just excited to see me. Baihakki stepped forward to, to show himself. However the girls were not interested in him. Maybe they don't know soccer. To not make him feel bad, I introduced him to the girls. As i suspected, they have no idea about soccer at all and totally ignored him. You know Baihakki, he's always a goofy guy, used to attention. He was nudging me to move away so that we could enter the mall. One of the girls noticed it and yelled, "Hey! Can't you see we are talking here?! Think you are such a great player! We think u suck!" Vikram ended. The rest just stared at him. "And what did you do?!" Nadera asked angrily. "Wwell...i couldn't move away..they were all around...he just walked off to the bustop and got into the 1st bus...which is not even his bus home. With all the tension today, i actually forgot about it all. But i guess he didn't" Vikram replied. They all fell silent. "Hey Deb, you never told us how you found out it was a trap." Nadera asked. "Oh..hehehe...well, after tying up the men, we made our way to the boat and had to pass by Nisa's and Legolas's trail. You wouldn't believe it! Nisa was holding on to one of the men while the other men was advancing. To distract him...HAHAHAHA...she actually pulled up her shirt!" Deb said, laughing out loud. "OH MY GAWD!" Nadera and Vikram replied excitedly. "YA! That did the trick! He stood there like a stone, staring. Legolas took a rock and threw at him, knocking him to the ground. We say the guys coming with the tranquiliser but we couldn't warn him without letting them know we are here. We really had no choice but to leave." Firdaus said. "We understand. We didn't check up on the rest either. We thought it better to stay save so as to escape and get help" Vikram replied. HAHAHA...Nisa oh Nisa. So daring of her...my oh my...i wonder what's happening at the Hideout right now!
Footsteps echoed throughout the cave and out from the corner appeared Ghazali and 3 henchmen. "What's this? Only 3 pairs? Where is the other 2?! And...oh my gawd, is that Mrs. Mani?!" Ghazali exclaimed. Mrs. Mani continued to let out muffled sounds. "Thank god you guys tapped her mouth shut. I can't stand her! I heard that's what she used to distrat my men! How clever Mrs. Mani...but too bad! Here you are...tied up with big mouth number 2!" Ghazali commented, nodding towards Nury. Nury just stared back angrily. "Where are the others?!" Ghazali asked angrily. "WWE...tried...sir...but we just couldn't find them. But don't worry. I am sure they'll come back to rescue all their pals" one of the henchmen replied. "Hmph!" Ghazali fumed and just as he was about to step out, Jack limped into the cave. "Sir! Senthil's coming!" Jack said. "Ahh..how nice...my SUPPOSED true fren..hmph! Quickly, tape up all this useless people's mouth before they go about yelling the truth!" Ghazali commanded. Unable to fight back, the 5 had no choice but to give in. "Bring his sister" Ghazali told to Jack. Jack disappeared around another corner. Pretty soon, Senthil arrived. "You called Ghaz? Oh...my..." Senthil was dumbfounded as he saw the 6 tied up. "Any comments Senthil?" Ghazali asked. "Why...of..ofcoz! Brilliant Ghaz! But...it's not my fault! You told me to stay here and run errands! That's why i couldn't watch them!" Senthil said apologetically. "It's okay Senthil. It's just SO clever of them! They KNEW you were not watching them today! They somehow KNEW the way here. They were also having maps to this ENTIRE place! They had it all PLANNED out! They KNEW where my men will be! They KNEW grey would be the perfect colour to blend in! All this..they knew although they have NEVER stepped foot on this island! How INTERESTING...." Ghazali speaked sarcastically. Sweat ran down Senthil's forehead. "This cant' be...he knows.." Senthil thought in his head. Ghazali smiled. "Bring her in Jack!"
Together with jack was Senthil's sister, being dragged into the cave and to be stood at the center. Senthil looked at his sister in horror, then at Ghazali. "Senthil senthil...being my man...you should be very careful if you wanna BACKSTAB me! So many mistakes Senthil...i mean, why would my man need a map of this place? You think i don't know when 1 map goes missing? I know Senthil...i know EVERYTHING!" Ghazali said in triumph. Senthil dropped to his knees. "Please Senthil! None of my men have been taught to beg! Get up you fool. Don't show your cowardliness infront of your sis who is depending on you! Now Senthil...do you rememeber what i told you when your sister was brought here?" Ghazali asked menacingly. Senthil continued sobbing. "No? Well, maybe this will remind you" and with that, Ghazali took out a gun. "PLEASE GHAZ! NO! DON'T HURT HER!". Senthil's cries echoed around the whole cave, and for a moment, the entire cave shook in grief, seeing Sethil's pitiful position. Tears were even filling up in our gang's eyes. Poor Senthil! Suffering because of them! "Ahh..i see you remember! Senthil, a promise is a promise! And i...KEEP MY PROMISE!" A huge gunshot was heard. It echoed around the cave, multiplying to million gunshots.

How clever Mrs. Mani...but too bad! Here you are...tied up with big mouth number 2!" Ghazali commented, nodding towards Nury. Nury just stared back angrily. "Where are the others?!" Ghazali asked angrily. "WWE...tried...sir...but we just couldn't find them. But don't worry. I am sure they'll come back to rescue all their pals" one of the henchmen replied. "Hmph!" Ghazali fumed and just as he was about to step out, Jack limped into the cave. "Sir! Senthil's coming!" Jack said. "Ahh..how nice...my SUPPOSED true fren..hmph! Quickly, tape up all this useless people's mouth before they go about yelling the truth!" Ghazali commanded. Unable to fight back, the 5 had no choice but to give in. "Bring his sister" Ghazali told to Jack. Jack disappeared around another corner. Pretty soon, Senthil arrived. "You called Ghaz? Oh...my..." Senthil was dumbfounded as he saw the 6 tied up. "Any comments Senthil?" Ghazali asked. "Why...of..ofcoz! Brilliant Ghaz! But...it's not my fault! You told me to stay here and run errands! That's why i couldn't watch them!" Senthil said apologetically. "It's okay Senthil. It's just SO clever of them! They KNEW you were not watching them today! They somehow KNEW the way here. They were also having maps to this ENTIRE place! They had it all PLANNED out! They KNEW where my men will be! They KNEW grey would be the perfect colour to blend in! All this..they knew although they have NEVER stepped foot on this island! How INTERESTING...." Ghazali speaked sarcastically. Sweat ran down Senthil's forehead. "This cant' be...he knows.." Senthil thought in his head. Ghazali smiled. "Bring her in Jack!"
Together with jack was Senthil's sister, being dragged into the cave and to be stood at the center. Senthil looked at his sister in horror, then at Ghazali. "Senthil senthil...being my man...you should be very careful if you wanna BACKSTAB me! So many mistakes Senthil...i mean, why would my man need a map of this place? You think i don't know when 1 map goes missing? I know Senthil...i know EVERYTHING!" Ghazali said in triumph. Senthil dropped to his knees. "Please Senthil! None of my men have been taught to beg! Get up you fool. Don't show your cowardliness infront of your sis who is depending on you! Now Senthil...do you rememeber what i told you when your sister was brought here?" Ghazali asked menacingly. Senthil continued sobbing. "No? Well, maybe this will remind you" and with that, Ghazali took out a gun. "PLEASE GHAZ! NO! DON'T HURT HER!". Senthil's cries echoed around the whole cave, and for a moment, the entire cave shook in grief, seeing Sethil's pitiful position. Tears were even filling up in our gang's eyes. Poor Senthil! Suffering because of them! "Ahh..i see you remember! Senthil, a promise is a promise! And i...KEEP MY PROMISE!" A huge gunshot was heard. It echoed around the cave, multiplying to million gunshots.
Chapter 11
The First thing Nisa saw when she opened her eyes was Mrs. Mani and Nury a few distance infront of her and tied to a pole. Mrs. Mani had masking tape taped to her mouth. Next to her, at a distance was Legolas. "It was a trap!" Nisa exclaimed. Her voice echoed through the cave. "Shoosh! Stop shouting! And ya, we figured that out when we woke up here too" Nury replied. Nisa stared at Nury and said," I don't see any marks on you. And...i don't feel any pain either. How did i faint?" Nisa asked. "Tranquilliser" Nury replied wearily. Legolas made an unhappy grunt noise. "You don't think the rest have fallen into the trap do you?" Nisa asked worriedly. "Well, they are not here. So i suppose not. The worst thing now is Senthil. Ghazali must have somehow figured out something had gone wrong. He used the guys we planned to attack as a distraction, not as protection." Nury said. Muffling noises continued to be issued from Mrs. Mani. "Shut up! You were taped for talking too much. Can you atleast remain queit now?!" Nury commented angrily. Mrs. Mani stared at Nury in fustration. Even under all that stress, Legolas and Nisa couldn't help laughing. Then, they heard footsteps. All of them fell silent. From the corner came 2 guys, each carrying a person. The guys tied the 2 unconscious people they were carrying at poles distant apart and left the cave. "Oh no...now its all up to Vikram, Nad, Firdaus and Deb...oh my..Deb! If she gets caught... Oh gosh...i wonder what's happening to them right now!" Nury asked timidly. After 15 mins, Baihakki and Zahira started to arouse from their short nap.
''It's a trap!" Baihakki shouted. He then looked around the room at his fellow mates. "WE KNOW" The 4 replied wearily. Zahira, unlike Baihakki, looked around at her surroundings before shouting "It's a trap!". This time, no one bothered to reply. Instead, Nury decided to get down to business. We didn't know that. So when we spotted Ghazali's people, we assumed we were correct and that those were the guys we were suppose to get rid off. When we got rid of them, we spotted Vik and Nad. But just as soon as we spotted them, they disappeared behind a rock. Before i could shout out their names, everything was becoming black...and...here i am" Baihakki explained. "They knew..." Zahira replied slowly, putting everything together like a jigsaw puzzle. "Excellent! They know its a trap! I hope they do something clever!" Nisa replied hopefully. Meanwhile...
''What do we do now Vik? There is no way we can carry on with the plan. They know. Should we try to find the rest?" Nadera asked. "No...no...our route to the hideout is the longest. I believe the rest have been caught as well...damn this stupid place...no signal!" Vikram cursed. "Senthil did tell us handphones were useless here...oh my oh my...i wonder what happened to the rest...i am so scared!" Nadera whimpered. "Relax, don't be afraid...we..will think of something..." Vikram assured her. Suddenly, Nadera jumped over Vikram and kissed him on his lips. In that sudden swift of movement, Vikram couldn't think of anything else but to return that loving kiss. "II'm ssorry. I...just...well..if this is my last..i don't ever wanna regret to have not done that" Nadera replied shyly. Vikram smiled and gave another loving kiss. "That kiss did everything. I have a plan. Come" Vikram said and together, they made their way to the boat. "You're planning to go back for help?" Nadera asked. "Well...ya...that's the only thing left. If we get caught, no one will ever know until after many hours...and even then, they will never think we are missing from Singapore. The best is to escape and quickly seek help" Vikram explained. They reached the boat and tried to push the boat to the water. "It's too heavy! We did it with the rest when we came here! We can never do it by ourselves!" Nadera groaned. Vikram looked around. There was a huge edgy rock near the sea. "I know! We tie the safety rope around this rock. Press the button and lo and behold, the turbine will turn, pulling in the rope. This rock is definately well rooted. Instead of the rock being pulled in, the boat would be moving towards the rock instead" Vikram suggested. "I am so lucky to be stuck with a movie star. Okay, it's worth a try" Nadera said. It worked! They climbed onto the boat. Vikram started the engine and drove out to sea.
"VIK, STOP THE BOAT!' Nadera shouted. Vikram did as he was told. Once the engine died down, "Why?!" Vikram asked. Nadera picked up a binoculars from inside a cupboard, passed it to Vikram and pointed to a distance. Vikram looked into the binoculars. The small ship that was very far away suddenly appeared to be only a few meters away from them. There were 3 policemen in the boat. "Shit...police" Vikram said. "Huh? Isn't that a good thing?" Nadera asked. "No. Remember what Legolas said? No police patrols here. If you are coming this way, it only means one thing; you want to go to the desert. And i have a feeling those men are under Mr. Philip" Vikram answered. "Oh no! The corrupt policemen? We cannot get caught by them! How are we going to get help if they catch us? And how the hell do they know? You don't think Mr. Philip..." Nadera gasped. "I didn't even think of that. I thought Firdaus must have taken care of him before coming to meet us..." "I did." Firdaus appeared with deb at his side. "OH DEB!" Nadera exclaimed and ran to hug her. "How did you?..." "Haha, you see, we knew it was all a trap. So we decided to use the boat to get back for help. But we couldn't move the boat. So we waited inside for more of you guys to arrive..and..hehe...fell asleep. Sorry about that." Deb replied shyly. "Ya, we were just so exhausted. Nadera explained quickly, to Firdaus's amazement and asked,"Wat about the tranquilliser?. "Oh, that's a tranquilliser? I guessed so. I turned around to pick up the map i dropped and accidently knocked over the guy with the tranquilliser. Quickly i used it on him and tied him up with the rest" Firdaus replied. "Great, atleast you guys are save...by the way, we have a problem" Vik explained and pointed to the ship that was moving closer towards them. The blue uniform was very obvious now. "Shit..corrupt policemen of Mr. Philip's i believe? Damn, i knew i should'nt have put him in the storeroom with all that equipment...i was in such a rush to meet you guys..." Firdaus complained and scolded himself. "No time to regret. We have to do something fast!" Deb said. Vikram started the boat and began to move away from them. None of them were able to think of anything. Vikram turned to Nadera. "Another loving kiss?" Vikram asked. Firdaus and Deb stared at them as Nadera moved forward and began kissing. It was a long kiss, but it did the trick. Vik picked up his handphone. "Hello, is this the Navy patrol station at Tanah Merah? I have got an info of an unidentified boat, FG476L, and it's getting away. We believe its smuggling illegal goods.". With that, Vikram hung up the phone.
"Are you nuts! What kind of an idea is that?!" Nadera exclaimed. "You'll see" Vikram replied, and with that, began to keep and equal distance between their boat and the corrupt police's. Very soon, another boat was seen speeding towards them. "The patrol boat...oh! i think i get it...but i still don't!" Nadera replied, very confused. Firdaus and Deb just shrugged at each other. Vikram slowed down the boat and stopped it when both the patrol boat and the corrupt officer's boat arrived. The moment they jumped into the boat, Vikram dropped to his knees. "Please don't hurt me or my friends! We confess! We're smuggling illegal cigarettes. We just dropped off the goods at Naboo, Tatooine Desert!'' Vikram shouted, putting on a very good act. The rest quickly caught on and gave their most guilty looks. "Hmm...drive this boat to the desert. U there, call up more backups. I believe their whole gang must be at the desert right now. Urm, who are you three?" the Navi officer asked the police. "Urm..we...were told you guys needed backup" one man stumbled. The navy officer gave a quizzical look. "Hmm..only 3 policemen for backup? No weapons, to what i see? Hmph, nevermind that. Since you are here, just follow orders, you hear me?" The navy officer commanded. "Yes sir!" They replied.

Chapter 10
"Where is Vik?!" Nury asked Nadera. "I don't know! I've been trying to call him...a futile effort" Nadera replied nervously, still trying to call Vikram. "Hmph...no puntuality...boys are boys!" Mrs. Mani complained. "English Nadera...English!" Baihakki commented. "Futile means producing no result or effect. In simple terms, Nadera can't reach Vikram" Deb explained. "That's my smart girl!" Firdaus cooed. Nadera glared at Firdaus. Legolas smiled. Just at that moment, Vikram arrived. "Where the **** have you been! We are already 15mins late! You know how precise our plan has to be!" Baihakki exclaimed. "Watch you mouth a******. You think its so easy to get a permit for a boat and to harbour it at a terminal? Easy for you to complain!" Vikram shouted back. Mrs. Mani gasped. "WOAH WOAH! Will you two calm down?! The more we fight, the more time we're wasting time. Lets hurry onto the boat. Lead the way Vik" Firdaus said. Legolas nodded in agreement. With a final piercing look at Baihakki, Vikram lead the way to the boat. After they were checked by the officers, there were onboard and ready to go.
"Start your engines!" Mrs. Mani shouted excitedly. There was a few seconds of deafening silence...and..."Urr....Vikram? U did hire a driver...didn't you?" Nury asked. Everyone turned to look at Vikram. They stared at each other when finally, Baihakki burst out. "EASY TO COMPLAIN YOU SAY! How stupid can u get?! U expect the boat to auto pilot all the way?!!" Colour was rising quickly in both Baihakki and Vikram's face. But this time, Vikram knew it was his fault. "Look..iii...i have driven boats in my movies before...i think i can handle this.." "You THINK? YOU THINK? Oh! So you THINK we will die!? Or you THINK we may have to swim the rest of the journey once the boat CRASHES!" Baihakki screamed. Before anyone else could react, Baihakki gave out a howl of pain. He fell onto the floor, his nose bleeding profusely. Immediately, Firdaus and Legolas held Vikram back; Zahira and Nury ran to Baihakki's aid. Nisa and Nadera were just rooted to the spot. "Nury, bring baihakki inside. There should be a first aid box somewhere inside. Vikram, i want you to drive the boat. Maybe i can help you figure out some controls....GO!" Firdaus commanded. Baihakki was pulled inside while Vikram stormed off to drive the boat. Legolas and Firdaus went to help Baihakki. Nisa and Nadera just stared at each other, and found their own seats. To try and lift the atmosphere, Nisa asked," Nadera...where's Mrs. Mani?". Just at that moment, Mrs. Mani returned. "Pew...the bathroom stinks...wat kind of cleaning service does this boat have?! Anyway, what did i miss? Are we leaving already?!" Mrs. Mani asked them. "Urm..nope...nothing at all...and yes, Mrs. Mani. We are leaving now" Nadera replied. The boat vibrated, the engine was turned on and the boat started moving at breakneck speed.
"VIKRAM! SLOW DOWN!" Nadera shouted. "WE ARE ALREADY LATE! PLUS, I WANNA SHOW DAT (the 'whoosh' of the wind blocked some words) DAT I CAN DRIVE A STINKING BOAT!" Vikram shouted back over all the noise. And Lo and Behold, in just 20mins, the gang were at Tatooine Desert. They all climbed out of the boat. They then pushed the boat behind a huge cliff rock to ensure it remained hidden. Mrs. Mani took out the map. "Urm..don't let the teachers do all the work!...Here! You read it!" Mrs. Mani exclaimed and passed the map to Zahira. Zahira fumbled with the map. Legolas took the map from Zahira, looked at it and started walking. The rest followed in silence; not Mrs. Mani who just has to talk. "Did you hit your nose on the bathroom basin? U forgot to wash the stains off". Nobody bothered replying and sensing the tensed environment, Mrs. Mani joined the march in silence. Legolas signalled to Baihakki.
'We're 'ere" Baihakki announced, pinching his nose in pain. They all looked around. It was really deserted. However, piles of rocks have outgrown from nowhere; everywhere, making it very easy to hide and to conceal themselves. "Now i know why no country once this land. It will take years to clear away all this stones...how do they grow like that?!" Mrs. mani exclaimed. "You must remember that this terrain is not only beneficial to us, but also to our enemy. So we have to be VERY careful and quiet. Remember our plans. Its 9.25. there's 5 mins left. Lets rest here, under this shade provided by the rocks" Vikram suggested. They all greatfully sat down. Baihakki was careful to sit as far away from Vikram as possible. They gang cuddled together and waited.
"It's 9.30" Deborah whispered. "Okay everyone, remember our plan. All of you have a copy of the map to their hideout? Who lost theirs?" Vikram asked. Nobody replied. "Very good. Okay, lets go. May God be with us." Vikram finished. With one last look at everyone, the gang split up into their groups; Vik and Nad, Nisa and Legolas, Zahira and Baihakki, Nury and Mrs. Mani.
"I don't understand what you're miming! Did u bring the letter pad like i told you too?"Nisa whispered to Legolas as they walked. Legolas took out the pad, scribbled on it and passed it to Nisa. "We are nearing. OH! Okay...sry about that...sigh...why did you have to lose your voice today?" Nisa groaned. Legolas shrugged and they both slowed down their paces as they neared their destination. "Senthil has done his job. Our path was clear of Ghazali's people. I wonder what awaits us at our mmmpph!" Nisa was muffled by Legola's hand and pulled to be concealed behind a rock. Putting his mouth to his lips, Baihakki pointed to a distance. Both peeked from behind the rocks. There were three muscular men wearing the same outfit; grey singlet and berms. "Oh...now i know why Senthil told us to wear Grey too. It help us blend into this terrain..." Nisa whispered. Legolas drew his thumb across his throat. "Yaya..we are suppose to get rid of them...but how? We can't go to them from behind. There are too little rocks over that side" Nisa groaned. Legolas put on his thinking cap. He looked around. There was a bird flying in the sky a short distance away from them. He quickly aimed an arrow at the bird. The arrow pierced through the bird and the bird landed on the hard sand with a thud.
" Did you hear something?" Asked Bill. "Well..i didn't hear anything, but i saw something black moving very fast over there" Brawk replied. "Hmm...maybe it was what Senthil warned us about. You two go and check it out. I'll stay here with the gun." Jack replied. The 2 agreed and trudged towards the bird. "Oh dear, we wanted to lure them one by one..how do we tackle two? Come on! You're the hunting expert!" Nisa whispered nervously. Legolas WAS an expert. He threw an arrow over a few feet away, behind a rock, and asked Nisa to hide near the rock. He then mimed the action of covering their mouths and pulling them down. Nisa shook her head in fear. "I cccan't do it!" Nisa stammered! The guys were nearing them. Legolas pushed Nisa towards the rock. Gathering all her courage, she crawled towards the rock and waited.
"Hey, look, its just a bird" Bill said. "A pierced Bird. Somebody's here...look! Over there! And arrow!" Brawk exclaimed and advanced quickly towards it. "Wait Brawk! I think it's a tra.." Before he could finish his sentence, Nisa jumped out, covered Bill and pulled him to the ground. Realising her mistake, she did something nobody would have done. Brawk, mesmerised didn't realise a rock flying towards him. He was hit on the head and he collapsed onto the floor. Not even bothering to see who threw the rock, Nisa quickly took out the cloth she was carrying and stuffed it in their mouths. She then took out the ropes, tied them to a stone and went to meet Legolas. Legolas was crouching over Jack, pulling out the arrow in his leg and tying him up the same way as the other 2. He then rolled him over behind a huge wall of stone, concealing him. "You threw the rock?" Nisa asked. Legolas nodded, then smiled cheekily at Nisa. "Swear to me you won't mention it to the rest?" Nisa asked. Legolas smiled...and just walked away. "Oi!" Nisa called. But that was the last thing she ever said or saw as she found herself falling into darkness....

Colour was rising quickly in both Baihakki and Vikram's face. But this time, Vikram knew it was his fault. "Look..iii...i have driven boats in my movies before...i think i can handle this.." "You THINK? YOU THINK? Oh! So you THINK we will die!? Or you THINK we may have to swim the rest of the journey once the boat CRASHES!" Baihakki screamed. Before anyone else could react, Baihakki gave out a howl of pain. He fell onto the floor, his nose bleeding profusely. Immediately, Firdaus and Legolas held Vikram back; Zahira and Nury ran to Baihakki's aid. Nisa and Nadera were just rooted to the spot. "Nury, bring baihakki inside. There should be a first aid box somewhere inside. Vikram, i want you to drive the boat. Maybe i can help you figure out some controls....GO!" Firdaus commanded. Baihakki was pulled inside while Vikram stormed off to drive the boat. Legolas and Firdaus went to help Baihakki. Nisa and Nadera just stared at each other, and found their own seats. To try and lift the atmosphere, Nisa asked," Nadera...where's Mrs. Mani?". Just at that moment, Mrs. Mani returned. "Pew...the bathroom stinks...wat kind of cleaning service does this boat have?! Anyway, what did i miss? Are we leaving already?!" Mrs. Mani asked them. "Urm..nope...nothing at all...and yes, Mrs. Mani. We are leaving now" Nadera replied. The boat vibrated, the engine was turned on and the boat started moving at breakneck speed.
"VIKRAM! SLOW DOWN!" Nadera shouted. "WE ARE ALREADY LATE! PLUS, I WANNA SHOW DAT (the 'whoosh' of the wind blocked some words) DAT I CAN DRIVE A STINKING BOAT!" Vikram shouted back over all the noise. And Lo and Behold, in just 20mins, the gang were at Tatooine Desert. They all climbed out of the boat. They then pushed the boat behind a huge cliff rock to ensure it remained hidden. Mrs. Mani took out the map. "Urm..don't let the teachers do all the work!...Here! You read it!" Mrs. Mani exclaimed and passed the map to Zahira. Zahira fumbled with the map. Legolas took the map from Zahira, looked at it and started walking. The rest followed in silence; not Mrs. Mani who just has to talk. "Did you hit your nose on the bathroom basin? U forgot to wash the stains off". Nobody bothered replying and sensing the tensed environment, Mrs. Mani joined the march in silence. Legolas signalled to Baihakki.
'We're 'ere" Baihakki announced, pinching his nose in pain. They all looked around. It was really deserted. However, piles of rocks have outgrown from nowhere; everywhere, making it very easy to hide and to conceal themselves. "Now i know why no country once this land. It will take years to clear away all this stones...how do they grow like that?!" Mrs. mani exclaimed. "You must remember that this terrain is not only beneficial to us, but also to our enemy. So we have to be VERY careful and quiet. Remember our plans. Its 9.25. there's 5 mins left. Lets rest here, under this shade provided by the rocks" Vikram suggested. They all greatfully sat down. Baihakki was careful to sit as far away from Vikram as possible. They gang cuddled together and waited.
"It's 9.30" Deborah whispered. "Okay everyone, remember our plan. All of you have a copy of the map to their hideout? Who lost theirs?" Vikram asked. Nobody replied. "Very good. Okay, lets go. May God be with us." Vikram finished. With one last look at everyone, the gang split up into their groups; Vik and Nad, Nisa and Legolas, Zahira and Baihakki, Nury and Mrs. Mani.
"I don't understand what you're miming! Did u bring the letter pad like i told you too?"Nisa whispered to Legolas as they walked. Legolas took out the pad, scribbled on it and passed it to Nisa. "We are nearing. OH! Okay...sry about that...sigh...why did you have to lose your voice today?" Nisa groaned. Legolas shrugged and they both slowed down their paces as they neared their destination. "Senthil has done his job. Our path was clear of Ghazali's people. I wonder what awaits us at our mmmpph!" Nisa was muffled by Legola's hand and pulled to be concealed behind a rock. Putting his mouth to his lips, Baihakki pointed to a distance. Both peeked from behind the rocks. There were three muscular men wearing the same outfit; grey singlet and berms. "Oh...now i know why Senthil told us to wear Grey too. It help us blend into this terrain..." Nisa whispered. Legolas drew his thumb across his throat. "Yaya..we are suppose to get rid of them...but how? We can't go to them from behind. There are too little rocks over that side" Nisa groaned. Legolas put on his thinking cap. He looked around. There was a bird flying in the sky a short distance away from them. He quickly aimed an arrow at the bird. The arrow pierced through the bird and the bird landed on the hard sand with a thud.
" Did you hear something?" Asked Bill. "Well..i didn't hear anything, but i saw something black moving very fast over there" Brawk replied. "Hmm...maybe it was what Senthil warned us about. You two go and check it out. I'll stay here with the gun." Jack replied. The 2 agreed and trudged towards the bird. "Oh dear, we wanted to lure them one by one..how do we tackle two? Come on! You're the hunting expert!" Nisa whispered nervously. Legolas WAS an expert. He threw an arrow over a few feet away, behind a rock, and asked Nisa to hide near the rock. He then mimed the action of covering their mouths and pulling them down. Nisa shook her head in fear. "I cccan't do it!" Nisa stammered! The guys were nearing them. Legolas pushed Nisa towards the rock. Gathering all her courage, she crawled towards the rock and waited.
"Hey, look, its just a bird" Bill said. "A pierced Bird. Somebody's here...look! Over there! And arrow!" Brawk exclaimed and advanced quickly towards it. "Wait Brawk! I think it's a tra.." Before he could finish his sentence, Nisa jumped out, covered Bill and pulled him to the ground. Realising her mistake, she did something nobody would have done. Brawk, mesmerised didn't realise a rock flying towards him. He was hit on the head and he collapsed onto the floor. Not even bothering to see who threw the rock, Nisa quickly took out the cloth she was carrying and stuffed it in their mouths. She then took out the ropes, tied them to a stone and went to meet Legolas. Legolas was crouching over Jack, pulling out the arrow in his leg and tying him up the same way as the other 2. He then rolled him over behind a huge wall of stone, concealing him. "You threw the rock?" Nisa asked. Legolas nodded, then smiled cheekily at Nisa. "Swear to me you won't mention it to the rest?" Nisa asked. Legolas smiled...and just walked away. "Oi!" Nisa called. But that was the last thing she ever said or saw as she found herself falling into darkness....

Chapter 9
"Its usually said as 'tough nut to crack' " Deb commented. "You better be glad she didnt hear that!" Legolas hissed back. "So! What do we do next?" Mrs. Mani asked. "Wow...she's really into this isnt she...using the word WE...like we are actually going to bring her..." Baihakki whispered to Nury. "Oh yes we are!" Nury replied. "What ah? What are u guys discussing back there?!" Mrs. Mani shouted from the kitchen. "Are you nuts? You wanna bring her along?!" Baihakki whispered angrily. "What?! Bring her along? She will spoil everything!" Firdaus replied. Nury sighed and replied, "You guys don't get it do you? She may be the most irritating, big mouth...and sarcarstic person (ahem...are you forgetting...) Shut up Nadera! SARCARSTIC person...it is also her strength! You saw how she handled Mr. Philip! Even we couldnt stand it!" Nury exclaimed. "Urr..do you really think using Mrs. Mani as a distraction will work?" Nisa asked. "Hey! Am i like a nobody already? No respect to teachers! Didn't you hear me shouting from the kitchen!? How can you forget..."LOOK! Urr...Mrs. Manoii...i mean...Mrs. Mani, we wanted to..discuss it..here! Dsicuss it here so Mr. Philip won't overhear what we are talking! That's why we were..waiting for you!" Vikram replied cleverly. "Now..that's a smart boy! What school are you from?' Mrs. Mani asked, putting her hand over his shoulder and leading him to the table. The rest sniggered as they followed them to the table.
"Okay..now for serious business...no more jokes...it's my life here!" Deborah moaned. "Stop whimpering you!" Mrs. Mani snapped. Firdaus glared at Mrs. Mani. "ALRIGHT YOU GUYS! We just..have to get along!" Nury exclaimed. Firdaus closed his eyes a few seconds, opened them and replied, "Ya...okay...Mrs. Mani, to make you understand everything, we have to tell the story from the start. At the beginning of this year...." Firdaus finished the story. "OH MY! This is..the second time?! Oh those evil creeps! He was a bad egg after all!" Mrs. Mani cried out in shock. "Yes...getting there would be a problem. I searched about the desert and there is no ferry to get there. The place is deserted and would have no visitors. That's why it was easy for Ghazali to smuggle them there. Once you are on the boat, you are absolutely save" Legolas added on. "Wouldn't the police be patrolling that place? Like...check if there are any drug dealers..or some secret hideout?" Zahira asked. The girls looked at her in amazement. "Haha...good one. Well..it seems that the desert is so useless that no one has gained property over it." Legolas replied. "Haha...man...and i thought Singapore and Malaysia would be the first to start fighting over it..." "Ish Nadera...now's no time for politics..." Vikram groaned. "Okay okay...now, we only have 4 more days. Tomorrow is the start of the weekends. Then it's school again. So we have no choice but to carry our plans out tomorrow..." "What! Oh man...can't you all take leave..buy MC or something?!" Firdaus groaned.
"No...we can't...its our final exams period..rememeber...god...and we didn't touch anything...but that is the least of our problems now. Fine, if we have to take MC..then we will..." Nisa stammered. "No! I will not allow that. I believe we can do it!" Mrs. Mani motivated them. The rest smiled...glad that she had finally come to her 'proper' senses!
"Hey, i can help in getting there! I can rent a boat for us to get there. I know plenty of actors and directors. I am sure i can negotiate" Vikram suggested. "That's great Vik..now the thing is what to do there...shouldn't the desert be very hot or something?" Baihakki asked. "Not really..its called a desert because nothing can grow there. So it must be sand all the way...other than that...i think it should be habitable. Or else, how do you think they survived?" Legolas replied. KNOCK KNOCK. "I'll get it..." Firdaus volunteered. "Duh..its your house.." Nury answered. "Hey guys! Look who's here to help!" Firdaus shouted excitely. They all turned around. "Senthil! What are you doing here!? What if we get caught?" Vikram asked nervously. "Nono...don't worry..i'm here because...wait...Mrs. Mmmani?" Senthil stammered. The rest just burst out laughing. "Yes Senthil...its me...i have to talk to you..." "No! Stop! No jokes! Senthil, Mrs. Mani is here to help. No worries..and i think you better come in here. We don't want Mr. Philip to hear you here" Nadera said. Senthil glanced towards the kitchen...went in and sat down glumly. "I'm sorry you can't see him. We feel its better for him to not know you are helping us. It was with your help after all we got him. So, why are you here?" Firdaus asked. "Ghazali told me to spy on you guys and inform him. Then i can go home. And that brings the good news. He has made me to spy on you guys. So you don't have to worry about any other of his men spying on you. You can carry out your work in peace and I promise i will help. Excuse me a sec while i call him and tell him you guys have went home..." Senthil replied and went away. "Poor Senthil..his sister is being held captive. He has already learnt his lesson. Stupid ghaz.." Deb replied furiously. "Ya..he's a good boy..." Mrs. Mani said symphatetically.
"We can plan our entry with Senthil since he's here. He can provide cover" Nisa suggested. "Ya...i think the next thing to do is to ask him about the desert. Where Ghaz's men are located..and stuff like that. Then we will plan and tomorrow...its action time!" Baihakki replied. "I'm scared. Our previous mission wasn't so serious..seeing we only have to rescue one person. But now...its shafiq and family...Faeez and family..and why...even Senthil's sister! How long is he going to manage to his parents of her being overseas? They are bound to suspect and find out sooner or later..." Nadera said sadly. Vikram put his hand over her shoulders and consoled her. "We have to do this. We have to end this once and for all. Once we accomplish everything, e shall go over to the CBI and hand Mr. Philip over, together with the recording of Ghaz talking to us over the phone as evidence. Then all the corrupt officers under him will get arrested. But all this depends on us accomplishing this mission. If we just hand him over now, there are sure to ask questions and everything will have to be told...then...there would be no hope...because somehow...Ghaz may get to know...we must not take that risk" Vikram said. "Hey, i'm back. He believes me. What have we planned so far?" Senthil asked. "First, you have to tell about the desert and where all Ghazali's friends..where your sister and the rest are all being held. If you have a map..." Mrs. Mani hinted. Senthil smiled and drew out from his pocket..." A map! Senthil you are the best!" Zahira exclaimed. "I knew you guys would need this. Ghazali has a number of these and sure wouldn't realise if one goes missing" Senthil replied proudly and began to draw on the map the location of where everyone was held and where Ghazali's men will be stationed and located to ensure no trespassers. The group discussed further. "Okay. That settles it then. Everyone set your watches to Senthil's watch. Time and precision is very important if we don't want any of his men to suspect. Everyone meet at Tanah Merah ferry terminal at 8.30." Legolas concluded.
"This is it isnt it?" zahira asked as she and the rest made their way to the bustop. "Yup..." Baihakki replied. The gang just didn't know what to say. Their plan seemed great. But yet, if a single thing goes wrong, everything will just collapse. It was such a dangerous mission. They hugged each other as they boarded the various buses home. As each reached home, they all prayed for everything to go well; that everyone reaches back safely; that Ghazali will be locked away forever...with great hopes, they went to bed and tried to fall asleep. But even Mrs. Mani couldnt sleep. They were all so afraid. But their worries soon tired them out and all of them eventually fell asleep.

Chapter 8
"4 more days..." Deb moaned. The gang still could not accept the idea of kidnapping Mr. Philip (to Nury's and Baihakki's disappointment). They were all lost. With no ideas, no plans, and just 4 more days with their friend's life and family at risk...things were getting VERY serious...
"I Think we know the best thing to do now" Nisa ended.
"NOW U GUYS COME AND TELL ME? U GUYS ARE S-T-U-P-I-D, STUPID PEOPLE!" Mrs. Mani bellowed. "Mrs. Mani shshhh!" Nadera replied nervously. "Ya pls Mrs. Mani, no one else in this school knows this. Not even about where Senthil and Ghazali disappeared. Our teacher just told the class that due to certain 'issues' they will not come to school for a long time" Zahira whispered. "Thud thud...i am disappointed in you. Keeping this for so long..when my student's life are at risk...Ghazali..i knew he will always be up to something..always giving me that cheeky look.." "Mrs. Mani! Now's no time to recall! We really need your help! We have run out of ideas and have..well...no other person to turn to.." Nury murmured. "Well...judging from all that you have said..i totally agree that we must get rid of Mr. Philip first. But HE IS a police officer...so..." Mrs. Mani said and went into deep thoughts. Just then, Nadera's handphone vibrated. "Urm, i need to go to the toilet. Excuse me..." "Just take it out here. Think i don't know your dirty tricks?!" Mrs. Mani replied. Embarrassed, Nadera slowly took out her handphone, read the message and screamed in shock. "What is wrong with you girl!" Mrs. Mani exclaimed. She looked at the rest and said, "Vikram just sms me! He..he said that they have kidnapped Mr. Philip!".
"What is going on here? Firdaus, i expected better of you!" Mrs. Mani scolded Firdaus. "No Mrs. Mani...I..I..." They all held their breath. Would she walk over and untie Mr. Philip? Was telling her about this a great mistake? "Look at your fan! So dirty! And your lights! God ur table's a mess..." Mrs. Mani went on. Baihakki giggled together with Zahira behind he back. "Why did u bring her?!" Vikram whispered to Nadera. "Well, now that she knows, its only right we bring her.." Nadera replied. They all gathered and sat around the dining table. Mrs. Mani was looking around the kitchen to find more things to criticize. In the middle of the table, tied up was Mr. Philip, squirming around and screaming all sorts of words that were muffled by the cloth in his mouth. "How did you do it?!" Nisa asked. "Well, remember we were actually disagreeing with it? Then today, we went to Far East Plaza to eat when we saw Mr. Philip. He was acting strange. Instead of entering the mall, he was going away from it, as far from it as it seems. So we forgot our hunger and trailed him where we found him at a corner talking to 2 people. We waited behind a huge billboard and when both men emerged, it was Ghazali, Senthil and Mr. Philip! Immediately and idea struck us. I called Senthil and told him to tell Ghazali that he wants to eat. Obviously, Ghazali will leave him as he does not care about Senthil. We then told Senthil to bring Mr. Philip to his house under orders from Ghazali. That fat head will believe him. So after that...it was rather animated..." Legolas ended. "Right into the Lions den! The job was so simple after that. Senthil then bought food and left to go back to Ghazali" Baihakki replied. The guys beemed at the girls, waiting for words of praises or maybe even a kiss. "What do we do now?" Nadera asked. The guys turned sour. "No words of praises?! It wasn't easy you know!" Baihakki exclaimed. "What's there to praise? You think the whole police force will keep quiet if an officer dosen't turn up after long hours? And if he dosen't answer his phone, you think they will just sit back and wait for him to come back!?" Nisa exclaimed. The girls stared at them. Even Mrs. Mani who was listening placed her hands on her hips and stared at the boys. The boys turned red. "Wwweelll, we..we can threaten him! He's now under our control. So we can make him say that he will be away for a week for an important case or something!" Firdaus replied nervously.
"See Firdaus, now you have showed true qualities as a leader" Mrs. Mani replied. She then pulled the cloth out of Mr. Philips mouth. "Why you little *******! Wait till my force comes looking for you and you guys will pay! Wait till Ghazali can't contact me and your friends will arrive dead at your doorstep! Wait till..." "HEY YOU! SHUT UP! HOW DARE YOU TALK TO MY STUDENTS LIKE THAT! THINK YOU ARE SO SMART! WHAT MAKES YOU..." Mrs. Mani screamed at Mr. Philip. The gang just sat back and watched the horror. Though Mrs. Mani uses no vulgarities, her words can make anyone go crazy. Mr. Philip was turning red in the ears and you could distinctly see the viens building up around his temple..about to explode. The gang quietly stood up and crept away to the hall. "My god..." Deborah exclaimed. "Yup, she's nuts..." Firdaus replied. Then suddenly, Nury who had not spoken for long suddenly burst out " That's it! Mr. Philips out of the way! Now we only have to tackle Ghazali and get away with our friends! Senthil's on our side. Mrs. Mani's words makes anyone listening to it go mad. We can use to to distract Ghazali and his mates while...while we do something!". The gang looked at her, speechless. Mrs. Mani finally stopped screaming. Mr. Philip was wimpering. Mrs. Mani came out and asked "Where's the ice water, can i have some. This Philip is a hard nut to crack!".

Just then, Nadera's handphone vibrated. "Urm, i need to go to the toilet. Excuse me..." "Just take it out here. Think i don't know your dirty tricks?!" Mrs. Mani replied. Embarrassed, Nadera slowly took out her handphone, read the message and screamed in shock. "What is wrong with you girl!" Mrs. Mani exclaimed. She looked at the rest and said, "Vikram just sms me! He..he said that they have kidnapped Mr. Philip!".
"What is going on here? Firdaus, i expected better of you!" Mrs. Mani scolded Firdaus. "No Mrs. Mani...I..I..." They all held their breath. Would she walk over and untie Mr. Philip? Was telling her about this a great mistake? "Look at your fan! So dirty! And your lights! God ur table's a mess..." Mrs. Mani went on. Baihakki giggled together with Zahira behind he back. "Why did u bring her?!" Vikram whispered to Nadera. "Well, now that she knows, its only right we bring her.." Nadera replied. They all gathered and sat around the dining table. Mrs. Mani was looking around the kitchen to find more things to criticize. In the middle of the table, tied up was Mr. Philip, squirming around and screaming all sorts of words that were muffled by the cloth in his mouth. "How did you do it?!" Nisa asked. "Well, remember we were actually disagreeing with it? Then today, we went to Far East Plaza to eat when we saw Mr. Philip. He was acting strange. Instead of entering the mall, he was going away from it, as far from it as it seems. So we forgot our hunger and trailed him where we found him at a corner talking to 2 people. We waited behind a huge billboard and when both men emerged, it was Ghazali, Senthil and Mr. Philip! Immediately and idea struck us. I called Senthil and told him to tell Ghazali that he wants to eat. Obviously, Ghazali will leave him as he does not care about Senthil. We then told Senthil to bring Mr. Philip to his house under orders from Ghazali. That fat head will believe him. So after that...it was rather animated..." Legolas ended. "Right into the Lions den! The job was so simple after that. Senthil then bought food and left to go back to Ghazali" Baihakki replied. The guys beemed at the girls, waiting for words of praises or maybe even a kiss. "What do we do now?" Nadera asked. The guys turned sour. "No words of praises?! It wasn't easy you know!" Baihakki exclaimed. "What's there to praise? You think the whole police force will keep quiet if an officer dosen't turn up after long hours? And if he dosen't answer his phone, you think they will just sit back and wait for him to come back!?" Nisa exclaimed. The girls stared at them. Even Mrs. Mani who was listening placed her hands on her hips and stared at the boys. The boys turned red. "Wwweelll, we..we can threaten him! He's now under our control. So we can make him say that he will be away for a week for an important case or something!" Firdaus replied nervously.
"See Firdaus, now you have showed true qualities as a leader" Mrs. Mani replied. She then pulled the cloth out of Mr. Philips mouth. "Why you little *******! Wait till my force comes looking for you and you guys will pay! Wait till Ghazali can't contact me and your friends will arrive dead at your doorstep! Wait till..." "HEY YOU! SHUT UP! HOW DARE YOU TALK TO MY STUDENTS LIKE THAT! THINK YOU ARE SO SMART! WHAT MAKES YOU..." Mrs. Mani screamed at Mr. Philip. The gang just sat back and watched the horror. Though Mrs. Mani uses no vulgarities, her words can make anyone go crazy. Mr. Philip was turning red in the ears and you could distinctly see the viens building up around his temple..about to explode. The gang quietly stood up and crept away to the hall. "My god..." Deborah exclaimed. "Yup, she's nuts..." Firdaus replied. Then suddenly, Nury who had not spoken for long suddenly burst out " That's it! Mr. Philips out of the way! Now we only have to tackle Ghazali and get away with our friends! Senthil's on our side. Mrs. Mani's words makes anyone listening to it go mad. We can use to to distract Ghazali and his mates while...while we do something!". The gang looked at her, speechless. Mrs. Mani finally stopped screaming. Mr. Philip was wimpering. Mrs. Mani came out and asked "Where's the ice water, can i have some. This Philip is a hard nut to crack!".

Chapter 7
The gang gave her the sarcastic look. “Nono…I mean…don’t inform the police. Maybe inform the CBI or something…” Nadera blurted. “My god…isn’t that a bit too far?” Deborah hesitated. “Yup, true. It would become a very big issue. Though that seems to be the obvious way now…” Senthil replied. At that time, Nadera’s handphone rang. “Yes mum?” Nadera asked. “Well…if all else fails, then we have no choice. By this week right? There’s still time for us to think. Don’t worry Deborah” Firdaus consoled. “Guys, my mum just called and asked me where I am. It’s getting late. I have to go” Nadera informed. “Well, I agree. It is getting late. We shall meet up tomorrow again. Think of more ideas tonight. We can share it tomorrow” Legolas summarized the day. “What about me?” Senthil asked. “Go back to Ghazali so he will not suspect anything. Tomorrow, meet us here, same time” Baihakki said.
“Khairunnisa and gang, can I see you for a while?” Mrs. Mani called them. “Yess!!??” Nury replied loudly, as usual. “All of you have duty?” “Yes Mrs. Mani” Nisa replied. “You guys are close to Shafiq and Faeez right?” Mrs. Mani asked them. “Urm…yes…” Nadera replied, giving quick glances to Nisa and Deborah. “They have not been coming to school for some time now. I have tried calling their homes but no one replied. Do you know?” she asked. “Urr…nno. Nope, we don’t know. But f we do, we’ll let you know” Deborah replied quickly. “Okay…hey, where’s your IRP?” she asked.

“Look, please spare me. I can understand how you feel (stares from the gang) Nono…really...it’s because, I am forced to work with Ghazali” Senthil finished. “Explain”, Deborah urged on. “You see, I agree that at first, I volunteerily helped him to kidnap Firdaus. But after what you did to us, I really learnt my lesson and just wanted to run off and start life over. But Ghazali stopped me and forced me to work with him. When I disagreed with him, he kidnapped my sister and told me that in order to see her a life, I have to help him” Senthil finished off shakily. The gang stared at him in disbelief. “I’m telling the truth! She’s at the island in the cave right now…all alone…” Senthil finished off, unable to continue.
“I…don’t think he’s lying” Nadera told the rest. “Hmm…ya, seems like it. But why didn’t you call the police and tell them?” Vikram asked. “Well…its…urm…” “Say it or I’ll….” “Okay OKAY! Fffirdaus…well…the reason Ghazali…well, us actually, know that you’re in trouble with Mr. Philip is because…he’s…on our side” Senthil blurted out.
“WHATT!!????” “What are you saying!? The police on your side? You think we’re fools to believe that?!” Baihakki threatened. “Nono! I didn’t say the police! Mr. Philip! Only him…He’s helping us secretely by gathering info from his colleagues and passing it on to us.” Senthil replied.
“So that’s how you guys have not been caught till now and no action seems to be undertaking! And Mr. Philip just threatened us so we will actually try to gather as much information about you just to proof to him that we’re innocent! Briliant!” Legolas exclaimed. “But then, over the phone, Ghazali threatened not to go to the police and told he knows what’s going on between us and Mr. Philip. Why would he say that if he wants us to tell information about him to Mr. Philip?” Zahira recalled. Senthil sighed and said, “Ofcourse. He was afraid that you might inform other police officers about us. Then we will be in trouble. Even Mr. Philip may not be able to help out. He said that to scare you guys from telling the police. It was much safer that way. Unless if you guys were really tensed by Mr. Philip, you would only tell him about us, and not other police officers”.
“Gosh, you guys are good. Hey, untie him. Think this is enough proof to show he’s innocent.” Nisa said. “Yes, but you must promise not to go away from here. We need you to help save us, myself, our friends…and also your sister. You must work with us, promise?” Deborah asked Senthil. “Yes yes! I promise! Anything for my sister. But please be careful. If Ghazali finds out I am helping you guys, he’ll kill my sister!” Senthil cried out. “It’s a deal” Deborah replied and she untied him. “Gosh, thanx! Hey, Can I have something to eat?”
“So now the solution seems closer. But threatening Ghazali and telling him that we have Senthil would be of no use since he’s only making use of him (Senthil frowned). Informing other police officers is our only solution. But we still have his people spying on us. How to do it without them knowing?” Nisa asked out loud. “Guys…like duh, handphone??” Nadera said. “Oh ya…hahaha….” Nisa laughed. “I think that’s not possible” Senthil said. The gang turned to look at him. “Well, yes, we call them. But Mr. Philip, who’s on the case, would definitely be the one to be alerted. I know I said earlier that he may not be able to help us…on second thought…it’s risky. What if he does?” Senthil asked. “Why can’t we call a police officer and tell him also that Mr. Philip is behind all this! So they won’t inform Mr. Philip!” Baihakki suggested. “That’s not possible. Mr. Philip is the…well…nothing happens in the case without him. He’s sure to find out” Senthil replied.

Chapter 5
“Look, I’ll follow him. You quickly purchase this and meet me at my bike” Vikram whispered and went off. Quickly, without Senthil noticing, Baihakki purchased his items, gave his address and number to send them to his house and made his way outside and hid behind Vikram’s bike. Senthil exited and made his way to the bustop. Soon after, exited and mat Baihakki behind his bike. “Wait till he gets on the bus. Then we can follow him” Baihakki said. Senthil boarded the bus. Vikram and Baihakki climbed onto the bike and went after the bus.
“I can’t get Baihakki”, Zahira moaned. “Ah, come on. We are meeting later. What’s the rush to talk to him now? Maybe he’s busy. We’ll just see them later” Deborah said. “Hey, we can just try asking a teacher right? A teacher we trust?” Nadera suggested again. “Sigh…I tell you so many times already…even if we do have a trusted one and tell him or her, what can he/she do? Teachers don’t have a gang behind them that could help us either…there’s no point…” Nisa replied.
“He’s getting down!” Baihakki alerted Vikram. “Okay okay, I see him…” Vikram replied and slowed down his bike behind a block and parked it there. “Where’s he going?” Vikram asked out loud. They looked around and… “MRT! He’s going to take the train!” Baihakki shouted in excitement. “There’s no one here…he has ropes in his hands. This is our only chance…”
Senthil collapsed onto the floor. Vikram covered his mouth. Baihakki covered his mouth. Firdaus took the tape from Senthil’s pocket and taped his mouth. “Wow…in all the action, I actually forgot you lived here” Vikram said to Firdaus, laughing. “Haha…lucky I was making my way to the shop that I spotted him. Then I saw you guys running out from behind the block. I immediately knew what you guys were planning to do…” Firdaus finished for him. ‘We were in the hardware store when we saw him buying ropes. So we planned to follow him in Vik’s bike” Baihakki explained to Firdaus. “Come on, I have my car keys. Put him in my car and wait there. My parents are leaving soon. I will buy what I need from the shop and wait for my parents to leave. Then we could bring him up to my house. You guys call the rest to meet at my house” Firdaus said to them and helped carry him into his car.
“He replied!” Zahira mouthed to Nadera, Nisa, and Deborah. They each took out their phones carefully without anyone noticing and looked at the sms they received. “Zahira? What’s the answer?” Ms. Quek asked her, knowing she wasn’t paying attention. “Urr… (quickly keeping her phone away, gave a quick glance to her classmate Ranjithaa) oh, 52…” she replied, smiling gratefully to her, and looked at the other 2’s similar confused faces at the sms they just received.
“Oh my god…oh my god…oh my god…” Nisa kept repeating…walking around the hall with fear. “Why are you so tensed?” Firdaus asked. “You do know that there is someone spying on us? You don’t think they saw you kidnapping him?” Nisa asked. “Positively no. Why would there be someone spying on the place Senthil is? Rather on you guys rite? Anyway, if they do know, we would have gotten a call by now…” Firdaus reassured. Plssmmphopenmmm” Senthil muffled. “Hey, just tear the tape off” Legolas asked Firdaus. Firdaus, ensuring that all doors and windows were closed and that his hands and legs were tied well, tore off the tape. “mmmooOOWWW!” Senthil shouted. Legolas immediately ran forward and placed a knife under his throat. “Woah…I screamed because it was painful! But seriously…I need to pee!” Senthil begged them. The rest all looked at Legolas. Unable to believe it, Legolas untied Senthil and placing the knife near him, followed him into the toilet. After a while, they both came out. They tied Senthil to the armchair. Legolas sat down on a chair, looking slightly sick. “I’m sorry, you just didn’t want to give me any privacy” Senthil apologized to Legolas. The rest burst out laughing. “Oi…it isn’t funny. I just couldn’t risk leaving him…” Legolas said to the rest.

Chapter 4
“So it is true. Shafiq cleverly managed to type out the whole message clearly without them knowing…” Zahira reminded them. “What was the place name again?” Legolas asked. “Urm…Naboo, Tatooine Desert”, Zahira replied, checking the message in her phone. “Where the hell is that?” Legolas asked the rest of the gang. “There are no deserts in Singapore. And definitely no place called Naboo. So it definitely can’t be here…” Nisa said. “Well, then it must be abroad! My god! He expects us to go abroad with Deb to see him by this week? Abroad!” Zahira groaned. “How did he manage to escape abroad when the police are after him?” Vikram asked. “Oh ya…good question Vik. Hmm…I seriously don’t know…” Baihakki apologized. “Come on, there are many who have escaped to another country without getting caught. He could have got onto a ship from the island and escaped…there are many ways” Deborah replied. “Well, no point wasting time. Come over to my house. We can use my computer to find out where this desert is located” Legolas said.

“No wonder! It was just 8 km away! All he had to do was, just like Deb said; get a ship…or even run back to Singapore and get a ferry from there before we had even reported to the police about this issue! That would allow him easy access and the police would not have known anything at that point! That means we can definitely reach there in a day!” Vikram cried out in relief. Everyone was relieved. “Our problem is, what do we do now? We can’t just leave. We must make up good excuses to both our parents and teachers. And since we are being spied on, (once again, they glanced around, looking out through the window) if we want to get help, we must approach someone we see often so as not to get them suspicious. They spy us from a far. They can only see where we are going and who we are talking to. But not what we are talking about!” Zahira shouted with glee. With this, everyone felt assured that there is something that can be done.
“Hey, it’s getting late. I think we should go home and have a good rest. So that tomorrow, we can think clearly. Girls, meet us same place, same time” Legolas suggested.
“Hey Vik, can you meet me at the hardware store? I know it’s early in the morning but I need to get some things for my bike. Then you can come over to my house to help me fix it” Baihakki asked Vikram over the phone. Vikram agreed and took his bike to meet Baihakki at the store. Baihakki got off from the bus, with cheers from the passengers in the bus. “Man…this is why I don’t travel in public transport. I attract too much attention” Baihakki groaned, as he and Vikram walked into the hardware store. “Haha…at least it shows that you are a good soccer player. But anyway, it’s been a long time since you played. Why is that?” Vikram asked. “Oh well, after the previous adventure, I called the coach to call me off for a while. But now he’s torturing me to join back. But with this problem…I am just trying to avoid him…” Baihakki replied, as they walked past the beautiful 16inch rims, making their way to the wheels. Vikram continued, “Well, be careful. Make sure you don’t upset him…hey, wheels? What’s wrong with your wheels?” Vikram asked. “Oh, skidded on a slippery road and the wheel plus the plate around it got seriously scratched…thank god nothing happened to me. Don’t tell the others, especially Zahira. They’ll get very upset.” Baihakki replied as he picked his wheel and they made their way to the decorative stickers.
“Ow! Why yoummm” Baihakki got muffled as Vikram placed his hand over his mouth. “Shhh! Look…” Vikram whispered. Both of them, layed on the ground, looked through the small gaps in between the shelves towards ‘camp items’ section. “Isn’t...isn’t that Senthil? Buying ropes? And…man I can’t see…woah…this sticker’s cool” Baihakki whispered and kept it in his hand “Ya…oi! What should we do?” Vikram asked.

“Speaker speaker!” Legolas whispered in fear, forgetting that she has not answered the phone yet. She put the handphone in speaker mode and placed it on the table. All fell silent.
“Nisa, I know that’s you. And I’m sure you have put your handphone on speaker. Listen up all of you. You’re lucky I have not decided to come back to kill you. You must be having a lot of fun with Mr. Philip. (They looked at each other, wondering how he knew). Where is your beloved friends Faeez and Shafiq?” he asked. Baihakki was about to reply when Vikram stopped him. He signaled the rest to be silent and signaled Nisa to reply. Legolas gave a hint by putting his hand on his forehead. “He’sss…ssick” Nisa stammered, nodding her head at Legolas. “Hmph…don’t try to fool me Nisa. U have put your handphone in speaker mode. Well, whatever. Being caring friends of them, you must have tried to call their handphone and home? Shafiq’s…I believe...” Ghazali sniggered.
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THEM!!!?” Firduas shouted, unable to bear it any longer. Nadera burst into tears. Vikram put his hand around Nadera, calming her down. Zahira and Deborah sat closer together, controlling their fears. Baihakki and Legolas sat next to Zahira and Nisa respectively. “Woah…chill man. Go grab some ice-cream to cool yourself down. I can wait” Ghazali said, laughing. At the background, they were also able to hear Senthil laughing. Deborah grabbed Firdaus and squeezed his hand to calm him down. Legolas suddenly got an idea. He grabbed the phone and pressed the record button. “What is it Firdaus? No reply? You’ve got to thank yourself. If you had died that day, they would not be suffering right now. But you escaped! And you took my Debbie with you! I knew I had to run before the police catch me. While they were too busy finding us and you guys enjoying your holidays, I sneaked into their houses and grabbed them. Too bad, their parents were too persuasive. So I grabbed them too. I was the one who asked Shafiq to sms in that manner…idiotic *******. Managed to sms without us knowing…HEY!”
There was suddenly a lot of commotion. There was the screaming of a lady, a very loud ‘thud’ sound, Senthil screaming and then one final ‘thud!’. All went silent. “You idiot! What the hell were you doing! They almost got away!” Ghazali screamed. In The background, Senthil’s apologetic voice emerged, “I’m sorry. It’s just that girl. She kept winking at me and…distracting me…” he replied…giving a small smile. “Urrgh! Right, all of you! Listen up! I don’t care what you do. Ensure the police or anyone does not know about this. And I want Deborah by the end of this week. I don’t care if it’s school time. Any of these and other funny tricks up your sleeves, and you would see two families’ photos in the newspaper with the title ‘Dead’!”
Toot…toot…The phone was hung up. “Did it get recorded?” Firdaus asked. Nisa checked her phone and said, “Ya…but you heard him. If we tell anyone…” “Come on! We can’t get scared of that! How would he find out anyway?” Firdaus said. “He managed to find out that we are in trouble with Mr. Philip” Nadera replied. “And he knew we are together now…” “Oh my gosh! He has someone to follow the police and us!” Deborah cried out. They started glancing around to see anyone behaving suspiciously. They sat there, unable to say anything else. What are they suppose to do? They dare not got to Mr. Philip. They can’t give Deborah to him either. It would also be difficult to bring Deborah there with a plan to nab them. No police. So how to catch them red-handed? Bring Deborah there and then put up a fight? “It’s 8 of us and only 2 of them…we could hide weapons in our shirts or something…” Vikram suggested. “Vik, this is not the movies. This is real. You don’t even know if it’s only 2 of them in the Desert. How can 2 of them alone kidnap 2 families? They must have some back-up…just like how they have people to spy on us and the police…” Legolas replied intelligently. “Man…what are we going to do? By this week? We can’t skip school! We are very sorry to call all of you here. But we hope you can co-operate with us” Mr. Philip explained. The gang just stared at him impatiently, unable to believe the situation they are in. “Look, I have already told you. With no evidence, I cannot assume anything. Therefore it’s my job to weigh all possibilities! This, for all of your information, was my final guess” Mr. Philip replied apologetically. “Fine, we will co-operate. But we are telling you once and for all, we did not plan it just to kidnap them and for goodness sake, My Friend Was Kidnapped! They are also not ******** who would poison a friend!...me!” Vikram said, half wanting the urge to pounce on him. Mr. Philip sighed and replied. “Alright, we take that as your statement. Investigations will continue and until we have further evidences to proof all of you right, you all would have to come by the station whenever required, understood? Or it would be taken that you are running away and we may have to bring you here by force.” Mr. Philip warned.
“What the hell! Who does he think he is! Sherlock homes!?” Firdaus shouted in anger. “If he was Sherlock homes, he would have some evidences by now” Nisa replied. “Zahira, you have been silent from just now. What’s the matter? Is it about this problem? Don’t worry alright, it will be fine.” Nadera consoled Zahira. “…I know what I’m saying sounds very bad…but…Shafiq didn’t come to school. The two are missing. He’s our friend. You don’t think…” Zahira gulped, unable to say out the worst. “No way!!” Nadera exclaimed. “Come on, don’t listen to her. Remember when we were planning how to rescue Firdaus during the weekends? Then I said to rescue him on Saturday and come back by Sunday night?” Deborah asked Nadera. She replied, “urm…ya…then Nisa said that it’s impossible to find him by one day because it takes almost a day to get there and a few hours to find him…”. “And Zahira suggested to go to the cave on Saturday and search for the place where Firdaus is, give him food and return on Sunday to rescue him as we would already know where he is” Nisa continued. There was silence for a few seconds. Then Baihakki, “Hey…both are the same!” he exclaimed. “…but we all believed it blindly as we were too confused to realise that she was talking nonsense!” Deborah ended.
“Oh man…and I said it would take about one whole day to get there when it only took about 5 hours…” Nisa said, not able to believe what a big mistake she had done. “And I said that it’s school time…no holidays…but it was true! Holidays were 2 weeks away. We couldn’t wait 2 weeks to rescue him! Our parents were away on holiday in KL so didn’t need to worry about them. But like Nadera said, our teachers? It was Ghazali trying to call her.

The gang had plenty of fun during the holidays, playing games and going out together. But fun never lasts long. School holidays ended quickly and it was time for them to go back to school to study hard for their final year exam. Once the bell rang for end of school, the girls made their way to Tampines Mall to meet up with the guys.
“Ghazali and Senthil didn’t come to school today.” Nisa told Legolas. “Yup, they have been locked up in the Boys Home for good” said Vikram. “But…it’s kinda sad. I mean…the exams are coming…and just for a small matter of love…such a big punishment…” Nadera said. Then Deborah stared at Nadera and said, “Small matter? SMALL? Kidnapping a person and keeping him in a cave to kill him is small??!!. Then Baihakki chuckled and said, “By right, you should be the one to worry. He did all this for you”. Immediately Deborah jumped off her seat and ran to Baihakki and started strangling him. “Why you little…!!!” “Hey Deb! Stop it! He was just joking!” cried Zahira, pushing Deb away. “Woah woah…cool off you two. You can’t get tensed at Ben and Jerry’s. Just sit down and enjoy your ice-cream” Legolas joked. Even Deborah stared laughing. “Hey, but Shafiq didn’t come to school today. He is rarely absent from school…” Nadera informed the guys. “Oh, he didn’t?” Baihakki asked, massaging his neck. “Did you try calling or smsing him?” Vikram suggested. “Ya, we tried both. No reply. We called his home. There was also no reply” Nisa said.
“Hello, Firdaus speaking” replied Firdaus on his handphone. “Firdaus, this is Mr. Philip speaking. The two boys, Ghazali and Senthil, were not found in the cave you mentioned. We are sorry for informing you late because investigations are still going on and we wanted to confirm before informing you. Furthermore, even if we did find them in the cave, unless they admit it themselves, there is no evidence or proof that they are the ones who kidnapped you. It could be assumed that you and your friends planned this to frame them. Things have been made more difficult as they were not found in the caves” he said. “So you think Vikram purposely poisoned himself just to frame a bunch of idiots?!” Firdaus said with anger in his voice. “Firdaus, we are not saying that. But we cannot proof you and your friend’s innocence either. We cannot assume anything. We can explain more in detail if you could come by the Neighbourhood Police Post at Tampines. I am there now with the other officers.
Firdaus hung up his handphone in rage. The rest looked at him, frightened. Firdaus explained the issue to them.

“Ghazali and Senthil didn’t come to school today.” Nisa told Legolas. “Yup, they have been locked up in the Boys Home for good” said Vikram. “But…it’s kinda sad. I mean…the exams are coming…and just for a small matter of love…such a big punishment…” Nadera said. Then Deborah stared at Nadera and said, “Small matter? SMALL? Kidnapping a person and keeping him in a cave to kill him is small??!!. Then Baihakki chuckled and said, “By right, you should be the one to worry. He did all this for you”. Immediately Deborah jumped off her seat and ran to Baihakki and started strangling him. “Why you little…!!!” “Hey Deb! Stop it! He was just joking!” cried Zahira, pushing Deb away. “Woah woah…cool off you two. You can’t get tensed at Ben and Jerry’s. Just sit down and enjoy your ice-cream” Legolas joked. Even Deborah stared laughing. “Hey, but Shafiq didn’t come to school today. He is rarely absent from school…” Nadera informed the guys. “Oh, he didn’t?” Baihakki asked, massaging his neck. “Did you try calling or smsing him?” Vikram suggested. “Ya, we tried both. No reply. We called his home. There was also no reply” Nisa said.
“Hello, Firdaus speaking” replied Firdaus on his handphone. “Firdaus, this is Mr. Philip speaking. The two boys, Ghazali and Senthil, were not found in the cave you mentioned. We are sorry for informing you late because investigations are still going on and we wanted to confirm before informing you. Furthermore, even if we did find them in the cave, unless they admit it themselves, there is no evidence or proof that they are the ones who kidnapped you. It could be assumed that you and your friends planned this to frame them. Things have been made more difficult as they were not found in the caves” he said. “So you think Vikram purposely poisoned himself just to frame a bunch of idiots?!” Firdaus said with anger in his voice. “Firdaus, we are not saying that. But we cannot proof you and your friend’s innocence either. We cannot assume anything. We can explain more in detail if you could come by the Neighbourhood Police Post at Tampines. I am there now with the other officers.
Firdaus hung up his handphone in rage. The rest looked at him, frightened. Firdaus explained the issue to them.
Introduction
Welcome to the next production of 'The Adventure Of 4'; Book 2. In this 2nd book of The Adventure of 4, Tatooine Desert, there will be a new member to help out with the gang. It depends in the end if that memeber would want to carry on hanging out with the group. Or else, it shall remain as The Adventure of 4. I really hope that, since I am doing this by myself, i don't end up repeating all the time and that my story is different. Because compared to the previous book, it was the ideas of 4 different people and so, each chapter had a different way of writing. I raelly need all of your support and you are more than welcome to visit my blog and comment, on my tagboard, of the story and give any suggestions. To my old authors, anytime you wish to create a chapter in the story, or add in your ideas, do tell me. I shall let you do so. (Don't worry, i will mention that is was done by you...haha...).
